What is GME technology ?
GME - Global Module Encapsulation (also known as GOB – “Glue On Board”) is the patented transparent epoxy glue used to protect the LEDs on the module. It covers the surface of the module’s printed circuit board with thousands of soldered SMD lamps. It’s essentially a transparent cover to protect the LEDs on your module.
This protection layer is capable of anti-collision (anti-bump), protection against dust, waterproof, anti-humidity, anti-UV and without any loss of brightness. Additionally, this shield glue contributes to heat dissipation, superior thermal conductivity, extending the lifespan of the modules. GME screens are mostly made for fine pitch LED displays and rental screens, which have natural requirements in terms of protection of led diodes.
It’s also good to know that the GME technology reduces the maintenance cost, it is more stable and reliable. In comparison to COB – “Chip on Board”. It is characterized by simpler maintenance, lower maintenance cost and a larger viewing angle (180 degree horizontal / vertical viewing angle).
