LED screen repair
LED screen repair: module repair, component replacement and technical support
Keeping LED displays operational over time
Artixium repairs LED modules and cabinets: component diagnosis, electronic repair, module replacement and visual checks, wherever the display is installed.
Repairing a screen is usually far cheaper than replacing it, and on a large installation it is often the difference between a single dark module and a wall that has to come down. Because each cabinet and module is identified through its service record, the right spare can be sourced years after the original project closed.
Repair is not limited to Artixium products. Our laboratory takes in LED modules and cabinets from other manufacturers for diagnosis, component-level repair and testing, provided the parts are identifiable, which makes it a practical route for operators running a mixed fleet, or for screens whose original supplier is no longer available.
LED screen repair: how it works
Artixium handles LED repair with a structured process designed to get the display back in service with as little downtime as possible. Each module is first inspected through a technical diagnosis covering visible defects, electronic behavior, connectors, receiving cards and module condition. When required, LEDs, ICs, connectors, masks, damaged parts or sensitive electronic components are repaired or replaced. The repaired module is then validated through power, signal, color and brightness tests before being prepared for reuse, shipment or reintegration into the display.
Where a serviced module still reads differently from its neighbours once refitted, a calibration pass brings the whole surface back into line. Return shipping is handled with the same care as the outbound leg: see our logistics expertise.
Laboratory support for advanced LED repair
Artixium operates a dedicated LED repair laboratory in Vaulx-en-Velin, France. Our LED technicians and engineers diagnose, repair and test modules, electronic components and display assemblies in controlled workshop conditions before products return to service.
Return Merchandise Authorization support
Artixium supports RMA procedures for LED products and modules. Return Merchandise Authorization is the standard process used to organize product returns, repairs or replacements between a customer and a supplier. Our team helps structure the return process, documentation and follow-up to keep repairs clear and traceable.
Flexible maintenance contracts for LED displays
Artixium offers flexible maintenance contracts that cover regular LED and module repair for Artixium products and selected third-party systems. Contracts can be adapted from one year to multiple years, with extension options up to five years. Even after contract expiration, clients can contact Artixium for repair or technical support.
Depending on repair requirements, Artixium technicians can also travel on site to perform the required interventions when needed. Services can be included in the Artixium maintenance contract, with every effort made to complete repairs within the best possible timeframe.

Frequently asked questions
Will a repaired module still match the rest of the screen?
Repaired modules are tested for power, signal, colour and brightness before they go back. Where a serviced panel still reads differently from its neighbours, a calibration pass aligns it with the rest of the surface.
What does a maintenance contract cover?
Regular repair of Artixium products and selected third-party systems, over one year or several, with extension options up to five. After a contract expires, clients can still request repair or technical support on a case-by-case basis.
Is repair done on site or in the laboratory?
Both. Component-level work is carried out in our repair laboratory in Vaulx-en-Velin, France, under controlled workshop conditions. Where a fault can be resolved on the installation itself, technicians can travel to site instead of removing cabinets.
What can actually be repaired on an LED module?
LEDs, driver ICs, connectors, masks and damaged electronic components, as well as receiving cards and cabling. A module is only declared beyond repair once the diagnosis shows the fault is in the PCB itself, or the cost exceeds a replacement.
How does a repair start?
Through an RMA: a Return Merchandise Authorization. It records what is being returned and why, so reception, diagnosis, repair and return shipping are documented against the module rather than handled informally.
Can you ship replacement modules while mine are being repaired?
Spare-part shipments are coordinated with the repair workflow so an installation is not left degraded: see our logistics expertise.
Do you repair LED screens you did not manufacture?
Yes. Third-party LED products and modules are accepted for diagnosis and repair, provided the components are identifiable. Where the client can supply the references, the equipment can also be followed through a service record.
