Leisure venue LED display

A leisure venue LED display sets the mood of a casino, a hotel or a show: it can take curved or sculptural shapes and must look right to the eye and on camera. Artixium designs LED displays for casinos, hotels, bars, theatres, theme parks and immersive attractions.

Which LED displays for a leisure venue?

Surfaces built for places people come to be impressed.

Immersive LED walls

Fine-pitch LED walls that cover a whole room, for immersive exhibitions and museums.

Seen within arm’s reach in a dark room, they first have to hold their black level and low-end dimming. Cabinet joins disappear so the room reads as one continuous surface.

In a museum, the leisure venue LED display runs all day long: fan noise stays low and maintenance is done outside opening hours.

Custom LED creations

Screens that take the shape of the artwork: rings, portals, volumes.

The cabinet is drawn around the form, from the artist’s or architect’s model to the structure, manufacturing and installation. Outdoors, it stands up to weather and touch.

Each creation is a one-off. Content is prepared to the exact format of the shape, so the image follows the curves without distortion.

Public art LED installation

Ambient LED displays

Screens that are part of the decor of a bar, a club or a restaurant: on the wall, on the ceiling or behind the stage.

Their brightness dims low enough for a dark room, and their surface survives a full house.

Content follows the pace of the evening, calmer over dinner, livelier as the room fills up. The cabinet blends into the decor with no visible frame, and stays quiet so it never covers the music.

LED displays in a nightclub

Continuous-duty LED walls

Indoor LED walls built to stay on for years, as in a gaming room.

Component life and colour stability weigh more than the purchase price. Front-service cabinets such as Granite, and spare parts held in stock for the life of the installation.

A fault must never close the room: a module is swapped from the front, during opening hours, without taking the wall apart.

Where it goes

We build LED for every kind of leisure venue

Artixium equips museums, public artworks, bars and clubs, casinos, show venues and private cinemas: places where the screen is part of the experience rather than a source of information.

Museums and exhibitions

A public within arm’s reach, in a room where black has to stay black.

Designed for the room

We specify from the room: in a dark space, black level and dimming decide before brightness does.

Public art

A permanent work, looked at up close by passers-by.

Bars and clubs

The screen is part of the mood: brightness that dims very low.

Built to last

We design for the long run: screens that run for long hours, serviced without closing the venue, with parts available for the life of the installation.

Casinos

A room that runs almost without a break, under constant lighting.

Shows

An LED floor or set that moves with the performance.

Private cinema

A cinema image in a living space, without a projector.

Custom shapes

And when the shape is the artwork, we draw the cabinet around it, from the model to the installation.

Specifying for a dark room

When the screen is the only light

In a museum, a club or a casino the screen is not in the light: it is the light. Four things then matter far more than the headline nits.

5,000:1

Black before brightness

A very bright panel that switches off badly lays a grey veil over the whole surface. Titanite 3: 5,000:1 contrast.

16-bit

Dimming that holds

These rooms run at 10 or 20% of the brightness. 16-bit processing keeps gradients free of steps.

50 cm

The audience within reach

Pixel pitch is chosen for this distance, not the back of the room. The surface has to stand being touched.

50,000 h

Run time sets the real cost

Nearly eleven years at 12 hours a day, seven and a half at 18. Colour stability matters more than the purchase price.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Domes, tunnels, floors, curved walls and sculptural features are all buildable: the cabinet ranges are designed to bend and assemble into non-flat geometry.

Yes. The cabinets refresh at 3,840 Hz, and up to 7,680 Hz on Topaz, which keeps the wall clean for cameras. Livestreams, TV capture and phone footage from the audience all read without banding.

The platform is used with disguise, Resolume, Green Hippo, Hippotizer and Pandoras Box, and supports real-time content workflows.

The touring cabinets are built for months on the road, so the same platform can serve a permanent venue installation and a travelling production.

Fine-pitch indoor installations need very little beyond cleaning and occasional recalibration. What matters is that a module can be replaced during opening hours, which is a design decision taken before the screen is built: several of the ranges here are front-serviced for exactly that.

Yes. These installations run on a schedule and start themselves, with monitoring so a fault is reported rather than discovered by a visitor. For public artworks that is not optional, because nobody is on site.

Manufacture usually runs to several weeks. The build itself takes a few days: an integrator from our network carries it out, and we coordinate it through to commissioning. Calibration is the part that decides whether the room reads as one continuous surface, so protect it in the schedule rather than compressing it at the end.

Yes, through our network of integrators and AV providers. We manufacture the cabinets, supply the layout, the configuration and the documentation, and coordinate installation and commissioning with the partner on site.
