Cadmium MicroLED display, Ultra HD over HDMI
The Cadmium MicroLED display is built for high-resolution video walls, up to 4K and beyond. Its slim 16:9 cabinets come in pixel pitches from P0.6 to P1.3, with MIP or QCOB technology. Cabinets link to each other over HDMI, which keeps cabling simple on large formats.

Features
16:9 Ultra HD Resolution
The Cadmium MicroLED display uses a native 16:9 cabinet format designed specifically for high-resolution indoor LED walls. Standard configurations provide up to 960 × 540 pixels per cabinet, allowing four cabinets arranged in a 2 × 2 layout to create a Full HD 1920 × 1080 display.
The P0.6 version goes significantly further, integrating 1920 × 1080 pixels into a single cabinet, so four cabinets can produce a native 4K 3840 × 2160 LED display. This architecture simplifies the creation of standard video resolutions while preserving the original proportions of professional content, making the Cadmium particularly suitable for applications requiring Ultra HD, 4K and higher-resolution LED installations.
HDMI Connection
The Cadmium MicroLED display has full HDMI signal connectivity directly between cabinets, simplifying the signal architecture of large Ultra HD LED installations. Up to four Cadmium cabinets can be connected in series to a single media-server signal output, with each output capable of managing up to 2,073,600 pixels.
An additional signal output is then required for every further group of four cabinets. By integrating HDMI connectivity directly into the cabinet system, the Cadmium reduces the complexity traditionally associated with signal distribution across modular LED walls and provides a more straightforward approach to wiring, configuration and high-resolution content distribution.
MIP Technology
The P0.6 version of the 55-inch Cadmium uses MIP technology to achieve the extremely high pixel density required for sub-millimetre LED displays. Micro LEDs are transferred directly onto the PCB substrate through a mass-transfer process, after which each group of three RGB LEDs is individually encapsulated to form a complete pixel.
This architecture enables the P0.6 cabinet to reach 1920 × 1080 pixels within a single 55-inch display area, providing exceptionally detailed reproduction at close viewing distances. Individual pixel encapsulation also improves module durability while maintaining direct access to individual pixels for repair, combining very high resolution with practical long-term serviceability.
QCOB Technology
The Cadmium’s QCOB modules combine characteristics of GME LED architecture, Mini SMD resolution and COB-style epoxy encapsulation within a single display technology. Following epoxy application, a mass-transfer process helps produce high module flatness, supporting a smooth and seamless visual surface when multiple modules are assembled together. The LED configuration is designed to remain easier to repair while controlling the overall cost of the display. An additional layer of patented epoxy is applied to improve brightness, contrast and physical resistance, giving the QCOB versions of the Cadmium a balance between fine-pitch visual performance, durability and maintainability.
Front Maintenance
The Cadmium MicroLED display provides complete front maintenance through magnetic LED modules, allowing technical servicing without requiring access behind the installed display. Individual modules can be removed directly from the visible side of the screen using a suction cup maintenance tool and replaced without dismantling the surrounding cabinet structure.
QCOB technology provides additional protection to the module surface during handling, helping reduce the risk of damage during removal and replacement. This front-access architecture is especially valuable for wall-mounted and space-constrained Ultra HD LED installations, where eliminating a rear maintenance corridor can significantly simplify integration and ongoing servicing.
