LED Screen Tour Matt Pokora: An Ambitious World Tour
Singer, songwriter and acclaimed performer, M. Pokora is one of the leading figures on the French music scene. Of Polish origin, he established himself in the industry in the early 2000s. In 2016, he became a coach on The Voice Kids and The Voice: La Plus Belle Voix. The same year, his seventh album, My Way a tribute to Claude François topped French sales during its first week.
The album’s success led to a world tour in 2017, featuring ambitious and spectacular stage design. To create an original mobile LED display reflecting the artist’s identity, Artixium was commissioned in collaboration with Skynight – LED France.
A Custom XENON Stage Design
The technical challenge involved creating a fragmented screen combining XENON P6 (a range since succeeded by Beryl) LED cabinets with custom triangular modules. In total, the structure featured 126 m² of LED surface, comprising 216 XENON cabinets and more than 60 LED triangles.
This configuration created a dynamic fragmentation effect on stage, enhancing the show’s visual identity while highlighting the artist’s performances. The XENON P6, Artixium’s flagship solution at the time, provided the lightness, durability and ease of handling required for an international tour.
All About the My Way Tour
The LED Screen Tour Matt Pokora Stage in Detail
The LED screen tour Matt Pokora project gave the 2017 “My Way” world tour an original mobile LED display reflecting the artist’s identity. Artixium designed it in collaboration with Skynight – LED France.
A fragmented screen. Rather than a single rectangle, the stage featured a fragmented LED surface, creating a dynamic effect that enhanced the show’s visual identity and the artist’s performances.
Rectangles and triangles. The structure combined 216 XENON P6 cabinets with more than 60 custom triangular LED modules, for a total of 126 m² of LED surface.
Built for an international tour. The XENON P6, Artixium’s flagship touring solution at the time, brought the lightness, durability and ease of handling needed to set up the stage in venue after venue.
Why Choose a Custom-Shaped LED Screen for a Tour?
Custom-shaped LED screens break away from the classic rectangular backdrop. Triangles, fragments and angled surfaces turn the screen into a piece of stage architecture that gives every show a unique signature.
To work on tour, these shapes must remain compatible with standard cabinets, be quick to assemble and stay perfectly aligned so that content flows across the whole surface. Lightweight cabinets also keep rigging simple, as on the LED screen tour Matt Pokora stage.
The XENON range has since been succeeded by Beryl, and Artixium designs custom LED displays for stage designers. Discover our event LED displays, contact our team, or read more about the artist on Wikipedia.
