With fine pixel pitch and Black Face SMD LEDs, the Beryl delivers high brightness, strong contrast and sharp image quality. This high resolution LED display ensures clear visuals and excellent visibility for professional stage and scenographic applications.
Features
Display Quality
The Beryl rental LED screen combines a fine pixel pitch with Black Face SMD LEDs to produce sharp visual content for professional touring and scenographic applications. The Black Face construction contributes to a high contrast level, while the available brightness helps displayed content remain clearly visible from a distance. This combination allows detailed graphics, video and stage content to retain their visual definition across larger venues. By balancing resolution, contrast and brightness within a rental-oriented cabinet system, the Beryl provides the image performance required for concerts, exhibitions, live productions and other temporary installations where the giant LED screen must create a strong visual impact.
Wide Color Range
The Beryl rental LED screen uses an Adobe-developed wide-gamut RGB colour space to reproduce an extended range of vivid colours. This broader colour capability enables the display to handle both complex visual compositions and simpler branded content while preserving clear tonal differences. Combined with the screen’s contrast and resolution, the expanded gamut supports richer colour layouts for stage design, concerts, corporate events and audiovisual productions. The result is a rental LED screen capable of presenting varied creative content with strong colour separation, allowing designers and production teams to build visually distinctive environments without limiting their work to a narrower standard colour range.
MiniLED 4-in-1
The Beryl P1.5 and P1.9 configurations use MiniLED 4-in-1 technology, which places four small LEDs within the physical space normally occupied by a conventional SMD LED package. This compact arrangement increases the effective number of LEDs across each module while maintaining a fine display surface. Encapsulating the four LEDs also improves their resistance to physical damage, an important advantage for cabinets repeatedly transported, assembled and dismantled. Despite this protective construction, each MiniLED 4-in-1 component remains individually repairable by a qualified technician, allowing localized servicing instead of requiring the replacement of an entire encapsulated module.
Toolless Curving
The Beryl incorporates a customizable toolless curve-locking system that allows technicians to shape the LED screen directly during installation. The cabinet connections can be adjusted on site without relying on a separate tool-based configuration process, making it easier to create tailored curved display surfaces for different venues and stage designs. This mechanical flexibility is particularly valuable for touring productions, where the same equipment may need to form different geometries from one event to another. The integrated locking system therefore expands the creative possibilities of the display while preserving the rapid installation and dismantling workflow expected from professional rental LED equipment.
90 Degree Cabinet
The Beryl P3.9 can be equipped with a dedicated 90-degree angle LED cabinet developed to create continuous right-angle installations. Unlike conventional bevelled cabinets that may leave a visible space at the junction between two display surfaces, this specialized cabinet forms a regular curve around the corner. Visual content can therefore continue smoothly between perpendicular sections of the giant LED screen without an obvious interruption. The configuration is particularly suitable for stage corners, architectural installations and immersive environments where content must extend across multiple directions while maintaining the visual continuity of the complete LED surface.
Cabinet Compatibility
The Beryl’s two standard cabinet sizes are mutually compatible, allowing different formats to be combined within the same rental LED installation. This compatibility gives production teams greater freedom to adapt the screen dimensions and layout to the available structure without operating two entirely separate systems. Different cabinet formats can be used together to accommodate specific widths, heights and stage geometries while preserving a coherent assembly process. For rental operators, this modular compatibility also increases the versatility of the existing equipment inventory, as the same cabinets can be reorganized for different productions rather than being restricted to one fixed screen format.
Universal Modules
Every Beryl LED module can be installed in any compatible position within the cabinet, eliminating the need to maintain position-specific replacement parts. A spare module can therefore be used wherever a technical intervention is required instead of being reserved for one particular section of the display. This universal design is especially relevant for touring LED screens, where maintenance may need to be completed quickly at the venue with a limited stock of replacement components. By simplifying spare-parts management and supporting immediate on-site servicing, the universal modules help rental operators reduce maintenance complexity during events and touring productions.
Installation Methods
The Beryl rental LED screen supports ceiling-hung, floor-stacked and structure-mounted installations, allowing the cabinet system to adapt to different event and venue requirements. A suspended configuration can be used when an overhead truss is available, while floor stacking provides an alternative for productions requiring a ground-supported display. The cabinets can also be attached to a dedicated supporting structure for more specific integration requirements. This range of installation methods allows the same rental LED equipment to be reused across concerts, exhibitions, stage productions and permanent projects, reducing the need to select a separate cabinet system for each mounting configuration.
Surface Protection
The Beryl display surface is both glare-resistant and scratch-resistant, providing protection against two recurring constraints in touring environments. Glare resistance helps limit disruptive reflections from stage lighting and other strong light sources, preserving the visibility of the content from different viewing positions. Scratch resistance helps protect the LED surface during frequent handling, assembly, dismantling and transportation. Together, these properties help maintain the physical condition and visual consistency of the screen throughout repeated rental cycles, making the cabinet better suited to installations where the equipment is regularly repositioned and exposed to changing production conditions.
Touring Airframe
The Beryl is supported by a dedicated removable airframe and bracing system developed for professional touring operations. The airframe can be attached to or removed from the LED cabinet quickly, allowing the structure to be adapted according to transportation and installation requirements. Dedicated dollies are designed specifically to accommodate the complete system, ensuring that the cabinets and their structural support can be managed together. This integrated approach provides rental teams with a purpose-built logistical solution rather than requiring an unrelated external frame to be adapted to the display before every production.
Tour Carts
The Beryl touring system allows multiple panels to be connected in rows while they remain inside the tour carts. These preassembled sections can then be lifted directly from the carts and attached to the truss, reducing the number of individual cabinet operations required during installation. The carts are also stackable, helping optimize storage space and improve loading and unloading efficiency. According to the transport configuration, up to 336 panels can fit inside a 40-foot container, providing a structured logistics solution for large-scale touring productions that must move substantial LED inventories between venues.
Ground Stacking
The removable Beryl airframe can function as a ground-support structure for floor-standing LED installations. Using the same frame for ground stacking reduces the need for an additional supporting system, helping limit both setup time and structural costs. The airframe is also climbable, giving technicians practical access to the rear of the assembled screen during installation and servicing. Combined with the modular cabinet design, this ground-support configuration keeps the display accessible during events and tours while providing the structural base required for large LED walls installed without overhead suspension.
Wind Bracing
The Beryl touring structure incorporates foldable wind-bracing frames designed to reinforce the installed LED wall. These structural elements support reliable performance when the screen is exposed to wind pressure, particularly during outdoor events and floor-standing applications. Their foldable design allows the bracing system to remain compatible with the transportation and rapid-deployment requirements of touring equipment. By integrating wind reinforcement into the dedicated cabinet structure, the system combines fast installation with the additional stability required for large event screens, helping technical teams maintain a secure display configuration throughout operation.
Phosphorescent Handles
The cabinet includes phosphorescent handles that also function as climbing holds. Their light-retaining surface makes the handling points easier to identify in dark backstage environments, during stage changes or when the main venue lighting is switched off. The same components provide dedicated grip points for cabinet manipulation and support technicians when climbing the rear structure of an assembled LED wall. This dual-purpose design reduces the need for separate handling and access components while improving cabinet visibility during touring operations conducted under restricted lighting conditions.
Toolless Safety Screws
The Beryl uses toolless safety screws to simplify recurring assembly and technical operations. These integrated fasteners allow technicians to secure or release the relevant cabinet components without repeatedly using separate hand tools. This feature supports faster setup and dismantling, particularly when a large LED screen contains numerous cabinets requiring the same operation. The toolless design also reduces the number of loose accessories that must be managed during touring. By integrating the fastening mechanism directly into the cabinet architecture, the system provides a more consistent and efficient workflow for repeated professional installations.
