LED Screen Telomedia: Beryl XR at the University of Toulon
Artixium is proud to announce the completion of a major project for the University of Toulon, in collaboration with Neoset, a virtual studio operator and specialist in virtual production. The university has acquired a 15m² LED wall, an installation that marks a decisive step in its development towards immersive audiovisual production.
The LED wall installed at the University of Toulon is based on Artixium’s Beryl XR P2.6 technology. With dimensions of 5m x 3m (W x H) and a brightness of 2000 NITS, this screen is specially designed for the demanding needs of virtual production (VP) and XR. It integrates the Brompton system and operates with a 1/8 scan, guaranteeing optimal performance for high-quality visual rendering.
This new tool, inaugurated on January 17, 2025, enriches the 370 m² of green screens at the University of Toulon’s Telomedia platform. It will enable the creation of immersive content in real-time 3D, a technology increasingly used in the film industry.
Neoset and Support from the Var Department
The installation was carried out by Neoset, an international expert in LED walls for cinema and virtual production. This collaboration demonstrates Artixium’s ability to meet the requirements of modern studios and offer high-level technological solutions.
The initiative was subsidized 80% by the Var Department, underlining the importance of this project for regional development of audiovisual production and university research.
All About the Telomedia LED Wall
The LED Screen Telomedia Project in Detail

Built for the camera. With 2,000 nits of brightness, Brompton processing and a 1/8 scan rate, the screen guarantees high-quality rendering on camera, for real-time 3D content.
Installed by Neoset. The installation was carried out by Neoset, an international specialist in LED walls for cinema and virtual production, and the project was 80% funded by the Var Department.
Why Choose an LED Wall for a University Virtual Studio?
Virtual production is transforming film and television. For a university, an LED wall gives students and researchers access to the same tools as professional studios: real-time 3D sets, in-camera visual effects and natural lighting on actors.
Combined with green screens, an LED wall broadens the range of possible productions, from short films to research projects and live content. A camera-ready screen, with high refresh rate and accurate colours, is essential, as in this LED screen Telomedia installation.
