LED Screen Perimeter Stadium Kazan: Hydrogen Sport at Ak Bars Arena
Kazan, capital of the Republic of Tatarstan and one of Russia’s largest cities, stands as a true national sports hub. Named “Sports Capital of Russia” in 2009, it still holds this prestigious title today thanks to its dynamism and world-class infrastructure.
Recognized for its commitment to international sporting events, Kazan has hosted several major competitions: the Summer Universiade in 2013, the World Fencing Championships in 2014, the World Swimming Championships in 2015, the World Gymnastics Championships in 2017, as well as the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Among these facilities, the Ak Bars Arena (formerly Kazan Arena) stands out. Selected as one of the official stadiums for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, this venue perfectly embodies Artixium’s involvement in LED screens for international sporting events.
A System Proven in Competition
Artixium is proud to have participated in the modernization of Ak Bars Arena by installing a state-of-the-art LED perimeter system. In 2014, a Hydrogen Sport P10 (a range since succeeded by Neipatec ST) stadium perimeter was installed, consisting of custom aluminum cabinets with dimensions of 1280 x 800 mm.
This LED display system has already proven itself during the Russian Championships, demonstrating exemplary reliability regardless of weather conditions. It operated without interruption in rain, snow, and extreme temperatures, confirming the robustness and performance of the Hydrogen Sport solution.

Why Choose a Weather-Proof LED Perimeter?
Stadiums in harsh climates put LED perimeters to the test: snow, rain, frost and large temperature swings over a single season. A robust aluminium structure, protected electronics and reliable components are needed to keep every board working on match day.
Reliability is not only a technical question: every minute of failure is lost exposure for partners and a visible defect on television, which is why this LED screen perimeter stadium Kazan installation was built for extreme conditions.
Hydrogen Sport has since been succeeded by Neipatec ST. Discover our stadium LED displays, contact our team, or read more about the Kazan Arena.
