LED Screen Airport Moscow: Two Giant HYDROGEN Screens at Sheremetyevo

The Sheremetyevo International Airport, located northwest of Moscow, is one of the three main airports in the Russian capital and serves as a strategic hub for Aeroflot. With dense traffic and exceptional visibility, the site offered an ideal setting for large-scale LED installations.

Between 2015 and 2016, Artixium handled the design, manufacturing, and installation of two giant outdoor LED screens. The first, installed in early 2016, is composed of Hydrogen P10 (a range since succeeded by Cobalt) cabinets spread over an impressive surface of 380 m². Despite weather and logistical conditions, the installation was completed in less than 72 hours.

The second screen, covering 280 m², is installed along the airport access road. It uses Hydrogen P16 cabinets, mounted on a metal structure specially designed to ensure stability and maximum visibility for users.

These projects confirm Artixium’s ability to deliver very large-scale outdoor LED solutions, with speed, precision, and reliability, even in complex international contexts.

The LED Screen Airport Moscow Project in Detail

The LED screen airport Moscow project covered 660 m² of outdoor display at Sheremetyevo, one of the three main airports of the Russian capital. Artixium handled the design, manufacturing and installation of two giant screens between 2015 and 2016.

A 380 m² screen installed in under 72 hours. The first screen, made of Hydrogen P10 cabinets, was installed in early 2016. Despite the weather and the logistics of an international airport, the installation was completed in less than 72 hours.

A 280 m² screen along the access road. The second screen uses Hydrogen P16 cabinets mounted on a metal structure designed specifically for the site, to ensure stability and maximum visibility for every vehicle heading to the terminals.

A strategic location. As a hub for Aeroflot with dense traffic, Sheremetyevo offers advertisers and the airport itself an exceptional audience.

Why Choose an LED Screen for an Airport?

Airports welcome a constant flow of travellers, drivers and visitors. Giant outdoor LED screens turn this flow into an audience: advertising campaigns, airport services, brand messages and practical information can be broadcast in large format, day and night.

Outdoor airport screens must withstand demanding conditions: wind, rain, snow, extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. Robust cabinets, a strong supporting structure and high brightness keep the image readable at long distances, as with the LED screen airport Moscow installation along the access road.

The HYDROGEN outdoor range has since been succeeded by Cobalt, Artixium’s current outdoor LED display. Discover our transport LED displays and digital billboards, contact our team, or learn more about the airport on the official Sheremetyevo website.
