How do you use this LED display technical documentation?
Documents are grouped by equipment family. Each entry links to the manufacturer’s official PDF, from NovaStar or Brompton, and shows the file size before you download it. To choose a device, start with our guide to the LED video processor, then browse our accessories.
Controllers and video processors include the MCTRL units, the VX range, the HDR Master 4K and the J6 switcher. Receiving cards cover the A and MRV series, fitted inside the cabinets. CVT fibre converters handle long runs between the control room and the screen. Multimedia players play content without a computer. The Brompton family brings together Tessera processors, such as the SX40 and S8, and their receiving cards, and the sensors and monitoring section groups the equipment that measures and watches over the display.
Frequently asked questions
What documents will I find here?
Our LED display technical documentation brings together datasheets and user manuals: controllers and video processors, sending and receiving cards, fibre converters, multimedia players, Brompton equipment and sensors. The Pad Link 2 user manual is here too.
Do the datasheets come from the manufacturers?
Yes. The entries in our LED display technical documentation are the official documents published by manufacturers such as NovaStar. Artixium supplies and configures this equipment with its LED displays.
What is the difference between a sending card and a receiving card?
The sending card takes the video signal from the source and passes it to the screen. Each cabinet holds a receiving card, which drives its LED modules. So the number of receiving cards follows the number of cabinets, and the sending card capacity follows the total resolution of the screen. Our guide to the LED video processor explains how to size the whole chain.
I cannot find the document for my equipment. What should I do?
Write to us through the contact page with the brand and model. If it covers equipment we install, the document can be added to our LED display technical documentation. If the equipment has failed, our repair service can take care of it.
Are the documents in English?
Yes. Most documents in our LED display technical documentation are published in English by the manufacturers, and each entry says so. If something is unclear, our team can walk you through it by phone or during a training session.
Do I need software to configure this equipment?
Yes. NovaStar controllers are set up with the manufacturer’s software, NovaLCT, which runs on a Windows computer connected to the controller or sending card. Artixium delivers the display already configured and can train your team on these tools.
Where can I find the datasheets for Artixium displays?
On each product page, through the brochure download button. Our LED display page lists the whole range. This LED display technical documentation covers the control equipment installed with our displays.
