World Cup: one match, one LED display
During the World Cup, we followed the French team from our showroom. For each France match, we made a poster and ran it on a different screen.
The idea was to show the range in real conditions, from ultra fine pitch indoor displays to the LED poster and the private cinema screen. Each match became a way to present one format and one use: events, retail, sport, corporate or high end installations.
France v Senegal: Beryl P1.9
For the first France match, against Senegal, the poster ran on our Beryl P1.9.
Its fine pixel pitch gives a sharp, high contrast image that holds up even with very detailed visuals. Beryl is still a rental display: it is built to be set up and taken down for tours and temporary installations.
France v Iraq: Titanite 3 P0.9
Against Iraq, we picked the Titanite 3 in P0.9.
With a pixel pitch this fine, the display is made for high definition content viewed up close. The poster stayed sharp and readable down to the small print. You will find it in showrooms, control rooms, studios and corporate spaces.
France v Norway: Solstice P1.5
For France v Norway, the poster ran on the Solstice P1.5.
Solstice is designed as a high end alternative to a television, for sport, cinema or presentations. In the showroom, it recreated the feel of a match watched in a private screening room.
France v Sweden: Titanite 3 P1.2
Against Sweden, we went back to the Titanite 3, this time in P1.2.
This pixel pitch balances image detail and viewing comfort. In a 16:9 format, this version suits meeting rooms, reception areas and showrooms.
France v Paraguay: Pad Link 2 P1.9
For France v Paraguay, it was the turn of the Pad Link 2 P1.9.
This poster format totem is easy to set up in a shop, at a trade show or in an exhibition. In portrait, the match poster looked more like a communication piece than a broadcast screen: an LED display does not have to be a large video wall.
France v Morocco: Titanite 3 P0.9
For France v Morocco, we came back to the Titanite 3 P0.9.
Up close, every detail of the poster stayed visible. That level of definition is why it fits showrooms, corporate spaces and meeting rooms.
See our LED displays for real in the showroom
World Cup or not, the eye is still the best judge of an LED display. In the showroom, you can compare image quality, pixel pitches and formats, and see how each display would fit your project, whether it is for sport, retail, corporate or events.
