Cobalt trackside at Fun Kart
Fun Kart operates in Le Bar-sur-Loup (06620), Plateau de la Sarrée, route de Gourdon. The circuit is equipped with a Cobalt outdoor LED screen, used for live classification and as the starting light sequence.
On a karting circuit the screen replaces a board that had to be updated by hand, and a light gantry that could only say one thing at a time. Drivers read their position between two laps; the race director changes the sequence without leaving the tower. The cabinet sits outdoors year-round, exposed to sun, rain and the vibration of the track.
The installation is one of a network of karting circuits equipped by Artixium across France.
