LED Screen Basketball: A Technology Built for Professional Sport
The Hydrogen Sport 2.0 P6.6 (a range since succeeded by Granite Sport) has been engineered specifically for professional sporting environments. Its front protective foam helps absorb impacts and improves player safety, while its die-cast aluminium structure provides the strength and precision required for regular use. Rear maintenance access also allows technical teams to service the system efficiently.
With a brightness of 6,000 nits, the LED perimeter remains clear and readable under different lighting conditions. Its refresh rate of more than 3,840 Hz produces stable, flicker-free images, making the system particularly suitable for television broadcasts and professional video production.

The installation was completed by AVL Event, an audiovisual integration specialist. The system was deployed efficiently within Le Colisée while allowing the club’s activities to continue without disruption.

The LED Screen Basketball Project in Detail
The LED screen basketball project equipped Le Colisée, home of Élan Chalon, with 57.6 linear metres of courtside LED boards. The installation was carried out by AVL Event, an audiovisual integration specialist, without disrupting the club’s activities.
