The Airport Lyon Saint-Éxupéry ushered his new Terminal 1B on Saturday 7th 2017 by French politics, including Gérard Collomb, France Minister of Interior. ARTIXIUM FRANCE SAS in partnership with VIDELIO worked together to design, manufacture and install this 8m diameter rounded LED screen in P4mm high brightness. The conception of this product was a great challenge for Artixium team, as they had to adapt the product to the binding environment.

The new terminal canopy follows the contours of the building and spread a lot of sun light directly on the screen. To solve this issue Artixium developed a new product from their portfolio called “LITHIUM High Brightness”, an indoor product as bright as outdoor LED screen. The weight of the entire screen was also an issue as the structure was standing on one offset lateral foot, which makes it very unstable. Here again Artixium team has to smartly re-think their product and came up with an extreme slim profile LED cabinet allowing a significant weight saving.

Today after over 6 month of project development, manufacturing and installation, Artixium is proud to count another important reference in the LED industry in on of the Top 3 ranked Airport in France.
